Recently taking residence inside Indie-Go Resurrection Bar (Used to be The Devonshire Cat – Wellington Street, Sheffield City Centre), Fat Cluck is all about providing tasty fried chicken, mouth-watering chicken gravy – yes it is better than KFC gravy, you heard it here – and their Sunday Lunch !!

Fat Cluck & Indie-Go Resurrection kindly invited a small group of us via Sheffield Foodie Socials to try out their new menu and boy did we love it. The menu consists of Chicken Burgers, a Wings & Tenders Plate served with slaw, pickles & chips, Wings with various sauces and yummy side dishes such as Mac N Cheese Bites or Gravy Cheesy Fries WHICH ARE THE ABSOLUTE BOMB!!

I loved how the chicken was juicy and the coating crispy, the cheese sauce was superb and the chicken gravy was the best chicken gravy I’d ever tasted. I enjoyed the Wings & Tenders Plate (admittedly I accidently ordered 9 instead of 6 and this was way too much for me but I ate as much as I could as it was a really good plate of food). Ben went for the Buffalo Blue Cheeseburger which could have done with more Blue Cheese but he really enjoyed this and it wasn’t too much, he ordered the cheesy fries with this and the added spring onion was a good touch. We shared Mac N Cheese Bites – these were nice, probably not needed just with the amount of food we had overall.

Indie-Go were great hosts too making us feel welcomed and gifting us drinks.

We definitely recommend giving this bar a visit for drinks and great Indie music and 100% you need to try the food from Fat Cluck!
