Our local Italian Restaurant serving all the typical dishes expected at an English Italian Restaurant, amongst a vibrant atmosphere, a nice place for a celebratory group meal.
We had been meaning to book a meal here for a while because every time we drove past the restaurant it was busy! Very local to us, Come A Casa is based just off the roundabout in the centre of Chapeltown, across from the Tesco Garage. A decent venue that provides a lively atmosphere, just what you expect from an English Italian Restaurant. 8 of us decided to meet up here for my birthday meal, and I really enjoyed it 🙂
Come A Casa offer a vast menu including all the typical choices of an Italian Restaurant, plenty to choose from and should cater for all. Book in advance as I say the restaurant was busy, especially on this Friday evening.

For my starter, it had to be the Grilled Goat’s Cheese – served on toasted bread with roast pepper and an orange dressing . I LOVE all things cheese as you know and this sounded great, and it was! A lovely chunk of gooey, warm goat’s cheese paired perfectly with the other ingredients. Yum Yum.

My main meal had to be pasta, it always does when I eat out at an Italian. I just love a simple pasta dish that has a bit of a kick to it. A bit of a creature of habit when it comes to ordering pasta out, I went for one of my faves, Al Arabiatta Tagliatelle – fresh chillies, cherry tomatoes, Napolitina sauce & fresh basil. I also asked for olives to be added. A perfect, delicious dish that I couldn’t waste and cleared the lot!!
To top it off, my friend’s had organised a little birthday dessert to come out and the restaurant sang to me, embarrassing but secretly loved it too haha! The dessert was like a chocolate ice cream almost Ferrero Roche type delicious thing! No idea how I polished everything off, maybe the wine helped!

Other dishes enjoyed were – Deep fried Mozzarella, Garlic Bread with Cheese, Carbonara, Goats Cheese Pizza & Sirloin steak.
Not a bad little local serving large portions, great value for money, with friendly service and a lively atmosphere. For more information on Come A Casa, visit their facebook page here.
