The Naughty Badger Bistro (Breakfast), Chester

For my birthday in February this year, we went to Chester for the weekend, and for our Sunday brunch we booked a table at recommended Naughty Badger Bistro, set in one of the old Tudor buildings in the heart of the city centre. I am glad that we booked as there was no walk-in availability that day, so best to book ahead – I just popped them a message on Instagram.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating and the foods was very good. My only note is that it was a pricey breakfast compared to some other city centre venues, the additions seem to be expensive in my opinion, however we really enjoyed everything.

  • I went with the Honey Badger (V) £12.00 – smashed avocado with chilli flakes & poached eggs on toasted brioche drizzled with honey, and I also added streaky bacon (+£2.50). This was absolutely delicious and the eggs were cooked to perfection.
  • Ben had a Naughty Badger Breakfast £13.00 with added toast (+£2.00), the sausage was MASSIVE. Everything was full of flavour.
  • I had a yummy Mocha £3.80 and Ben went with his usual black Americano £3.60

Definitely a scrumptious treat and a lovely place to check out when visiting Chester.

Lunch options include Burgers, Sandwiches as well as some Lighter Bites.
