Though Turtle Bay is a UK chain, I have visited the Sheffield branch a few times and always really enjoyed it! If you’ve never been, visit here for vibrant, Caribbean-style food, fabulous cocktails, bottomless brunches and now breakfast at certain branches too! [ad – invites]

Jan 2026 – We hadn’t been to Turtle Bay in ages, having previously enjoyed their bottomless brunch a couple of years ago, so when we returned, we loved to see the same old vibrant yet cosy atmosphere, but with a refreshed menu that we could mix and match and make our own. The new menu screams vibrant, tasty plates that you can pick at at your own leisure, with a lot more choice. Bonus that they also have 2 for Β£13 cocktails all day, every day too!! So I just had to treat myself to a couple.

To eat, we went for the Classic Sharing Set Meal which included sweetcorn fritters, chilli squid, mango fried chicken, half here chicken, curry goat, rice & peas, citrus slaw, cucumber chow & dumplings. We added on a side of plantain too as we love it.
Everything was flavoursome, we didn’t know where to start with our table feast! A fantastic platter, the jerk chicken and curry goat were delicious and the dumplings were fabulous. The sweetcorn fritters weren’t for me, they were big and doughy like dumplings, I prefer them thin and crispy… but everything else was great, we cleared all the plates and enjoyed a date night here!

March 2026 – Turtle Bay Sheffield does breakfast!!!!
So if you’re looking to ditch the apron and go out for a more vibrant and chilled breakfast/brunch, then this one’s for you. From folded rotis to delectable breakfast plates, this menu has a bit of everything and is bursting with flavour on every plate. Veggie & Vegan options are available too.

We enjoyed:
- Full Caribbean – bacon, sausage, spiced beans, tomato, mushroom, muffin & fried egg. Not sure what makes it Caribbean BUT it’s a decent cooked breakfast
- Sunrise Steak & Egg – grilled rump steak served pink or well done, trini-churri, avocado, tomato, fried egg & muffin. The steak and chimichurri was so delicious… this is a top breakfast plate and for just Β£12.75 is quality for the price.
- Sweetcorn Hash – sweetcorn fritters, poached egg, halloumi, avocado, mango mole, maple syrup. This was everything I wanted on a plate π€€ Would have had thinner fritters so they were crisper… but very yummy indeed
- I washed mine down with a gingerbread shake too, which satisfied my sweet tooth.
Needless to say we left very full, and very satisfied. Always a pleasure at Turtle Bay.
