Traditional Japanese cuisine and sushi restaurant franchise across the UK, serving up warming bowls of ramen, fresh sushi, stir fries and much more including some theatrical cocktails. Recently opened in 2025, this Sheffield branch can be found in Meadowhall Shopping Centre. Maki & Ramen also have restaurants in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle.

Having visited the Leeds branch of this restaurant a few times and loving it, I was very excited for this to be open nearer to home in Sheffield! We went along last month to enjoy some of their fabulous ramen and sushi rolls, which as always, hit just right 👌🏼

Flavoursome, filling and fun to eat! The Hell Ramen and new Firecracker Chicken have a fantastic building heat and chilli spice to them.

We also tried a few sides, though to be honest, I’d be quite happy sticking to ramen and sushi on my next visit as they are the real stars of the show, and my jeans were absolutely bursting after the massive portions haha. Though the gyozas are great too👍🏼
