The original “place to be” in Leeds Centre, this venue provides music, food, drinks and great vibes and has sparked other similar venues to open up around Leeds. With events such as yoga classes and film marathons to gigs and stand up comedians, Belgrave Music Hall has a lot going on. The relaxed atmosphere through the day here provides a great place for meeting friends, date night, bringing the family (no matter how young), even if you wanted to just sit with a book I’d recommend coming here.

For a foodie like me, Belgrave is one to keep an eye on.  They serve fresh, canteen style food, amazing cask ales and premium craft beers as well as frozen cocktails and a wide range of teas and coffees. Every 2nd Saturday of the month they host Belgrave Feast – Three floors of street food, art, ales and music. This event is free with lots of stuff to do for kids too. Food from some of the North’s finest Street Food Vendors is showcased here with dishes costing £3 – £10 and offering a range of vegan, veggie, meat, desserts, you name it!

On a typical day here though, you can still grab some amazing food from either (or both depending on how hungry you are!):

The Patty Smith’s Burger Co.

Serving great big juicy burgers as well as the famous “Session Fries”; Large sharing tray of twice cooked skin on fries, topped with smoked pancetta, pecorino, fried rosemary, pickled chillies, sriracha mayo and rosemary sea salt. If that doesn’t entice you enough I don’t know what will!

Offers – Monday to Friday 12pm – 4pm get a Burger & Chips for £5 and every Sunday buy 1 burger get a 2nd for £1 (selected burgers only).

Dough Boys

If you like pizza by the (large) slice, packed with unique flavours, then you have to try Dough Boys. Serving hand-stretched pizza, their ingredients are fresh and where possible sourced from local producers. You can always count on at least 6 delicious varieties with vegan options always available. One of my favourites is their Queen Brie – Brie, caramalised onion, red grapes, black pepper and smoked sea salt! You can also have as much parmesan, oil and chilli flakes on top as you wish!

Offers – Glab a half price slice from Sunday to Thursday 12pm to 7pm, Friday and Saturday 12pm to 5pm.
