Stacked Burgers, Dirty Fries, Ribs and more… this American Style Restaurant has all the mouth-watering, “grill” type grub you could wish for, oh and it’s GOOD! Newly opened towards the end of 2020, available for collections + outdoor dining currently, The Big Smoke is already very popular and once you try their food you’ll know why.

After a few weeks trying to get through on the phone to order a food collection, we finally got through to be able to pre-order a delivery last month and it was well worth the wait to be honest. This Rotherham based restaurant has lots of typical American BBQ style food on offer such as Beef or Chicken Burgers, Steaks, Ribs, Loaded Fries and more as well as having a Lunch and Kids Menu available.

We decided to get 2 different types of burgers and loaded fries to share between us. These were SO GOOD and the portions were big but as expected – we ended up absolutely stuffed with a small portion of loaded fries leftover for lunch the next day. All burgers are served in a brioche bun (gluten free available on request) and come with lettuce, tomato, coleslaw and fries (you can upgrade to loaded fries at a small cost).

Feeling Brisky
Big Smoke beef patty, beef brisket, dirty cheese sauce, signature gravy.

Smoke Stack (A Previous Special)
2 x Big Smoke beef patty, hash brown, dirty cheese sauce, bacon, onion ring.

Big Smoke Loaded Fries
With beef brisket, onions and dirty cheese sauce.

Hot Smoked Loaded Fries
Fries & Sweet Potato Fries with chilli, hot sauce, chillies, jalapeños and dirty cheese sauce.

All the food was packed separately in sturdy, cardboard packaging so the 25 min drive each way was fine we just had to warm everything up in the oven for 5 minutes. Love how the burgers are in unfolding tall boxes so you still get the joy of serving a stacked burger that hasn’t fallen to pieces!! Everything was cooked well and tasted amazing, especially the cheese sauce.

The service for collection was great, once we got through, friendly service over the phone and explained the process of collection well. Once you arrive at the car park, you text a number with your name and reg number and they come out to your car window with your order. Nice and simple.

We were very impressed with the food here and would like to visit again, hopefully this time to actually dine at the venue !
