Copper Pot, Sheffield City Centre

Nestled into the busy Division Street of Sheffield City Centre, this cosy café offers a comfy place to enjoy some great food and drinks including a yummy range of breakfasts, cakes and even cocktails!

This place, although hard to see through their ‘steamy windows’ haha, always looks popular so myself and a friend grabbed the chance to dive in for some Saturday brunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. As soon as we walked in, a really cheerful guy with a Geordie accent (I feel like regular customers probably know him haha) made us feel welcome and showed us to one of the few tables left.

Copper Pot has a varied breakfast menu of hot sandwiches, full breakfasts, toast and toppings, French toast, cakes etc. We decided to get one of the full breakfasts each with a hot drink and these were really tasty and very filling.

I went with a Chai Latte (spiced) which was lovely, warming and sweet, to go with the Veggie Breakfast which includes; veggie sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, hash brown, “sticky paprika beans”, guacamole and toast. Everything on my plate went down an absolute treat and I really enjoyed it.

My friend chose a Mocha, although was accidently served a 3 shot espresso which I don’t think she realised until she was halfway through it so when she then received her correct drink, was pretty much bouncing out of the place! But our server apologised for the mistake and didn’t charge any extra of course, so in the end it wasn’t the worst mistake to happen and was quite funny. She went with the standard Full English which includes; sausages, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, hash brown, “sticky paprika beans” and toast. This was another faultless plate of food.

We enjoyed our time here, it felt a very friendly and comfortable place to be. The café offers a wider range of fresh coffees and milkshakes and I would absolutely enjoy visiting here for food and rinks again! For more information on Copper Pot, visit their Facebook page here.
